As Valentine's Day approaches I get a flashback of what it was like in Kidergarten. It was the day many of us anxiously and with excitement put our heads in our folded arms that were placed on our small desks as we waited eagerly to view all the cards and cutouts that were given to us. While we waited, we were told not to peek; you know that one spot close to our elbows so we could identify our classmates' shoes. Confession, I peeked at times - couldn't resist. This experience created by my teacher has to be one of my fondest memories of childhood. It wasn't necessarily the amount of cards or cutouts received, rather it was more about the anticipation, the unknown, the elements of surprise. Those sentiments have stuck with me till now many years later and brought into existence with Niagara Wow Tours. I absolutely love watching my guests get surprised and know deep down the gift my teacher gave me when I was seven years old, has been passed forward to my guests, family and friends. At times we crave to take on that childlike sense of adventure, surprise, intrique, nostaligic sentiments, and heartfelt sense that someone cares about us. If that's something you're looking for you've come to the right place. Happy Valentine's Day to all the hundreds of guests I have served these past few years and all the guests on the way. Thank you Mrs. Ring - my favourite teacher who taught me so much. It's also time to celebrate you, celebrate love, celebrate life. Cheers to more adventures ahead!
